Blak's Pottery is committed to continuing the southern pottery tradition and to exploring its many forms. All pots are wheel thrown or hand built in the traditional way. The unique glazes are hand mixed and often combined to make new and interesting colors and textures.



The owner and chief potter , R.E.Blake, specializes in the traditional southern face jug form. She first discovered face jugs while in the military in South Carolina. She has been working in clay for over 20 years and has learned the process from various southern potters and teachers.
